1. Click on (Insert the Element), then add the elements and the number of atoms until the compound formula is complete.
2. Choose the calculation method, (do you want to calculate the concentration of the compound, if the concentration of the element is known), or (do you want to calculate the concentration of the element if the concentration of the compound is known)?
3. Then select (the element which needs to be caclauted, if the concentration of the compound is known) or (the element that you know the concentration and you want to calculate the concentration of the compound).
4. According to the calculation method, enter the concentration of (compound) or (element) in (ppm or %). You can change the unit.
5. Press (Calculate).
6. The result will appear with the same unit you selected.
Compound’s Concentration = (Element’s Conc. x Compound’s Molecular Weight) ÷ (Element’s Atomic Weight x Number of Element’s Atoms)

Element’s Concentration= (Compound’s Conc. x Element’s Atomic Weight x Number of Element’s Atoms) ÷ (Compound’s Molecular Weight)
